nicknames....

they are fun, cool, funny, stupid, ridiculous, nice, annoying. yup, they are nicknames. well, what's the point of having a nickname? is it to shorten one's name only? is that it's only purpose? well, i beg to differ.

its easy to call friends by their real names but that would make just an anyone. even a stranger can come up to you and call you by your name (he might have heard it somewhere). but with nicknames, you are a close friend. its your choice whether you want to be an anyone or a close friend.

nicknames fosters a rapport between friends. from my point of view, its fun to be called by a nickname. they make you feel as though you are closer to that person. usually, nicknames mirror one's personality. nicknames can be anything. you want examples? well here it goes ;
