first of all sorry for being a lousy blogger. its been what, three weeks? but hey, i got reasons for my actions. and one of them is that i was (and still am) sick. fever (on and off). anyway, enough about my sad story, lets carry on.
today, i am going to blabber (just because i said blabber doesn't mean that you got to smile that way, stop that puppy dog look) about HOW OFTEN DO ADULTS THINK THEY ARE AT THE TOP OF THE GAME? like duh, everyone knows that they do it. they think they know all the minute details of life (when actually THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO OPERATE A COMPUTER) ( and NO i am not mocking or talking about my parents, they are so not like that)
lets say, you are talking with a group of adults, and they are talking about some topic that you really do have a lot of interest (and knowledge) in. they will be exchanging facts (wrongs facts, anyway). and when you try to add to their facts (ummmmhmmm...meaning correct the wrong facts), all they do is hush you away, remember these words, i know, i know la... and then, they continue talking (about the wrong facts) ignoring you. like dude, how many time has that happened to you? i get frustrated over these stuff. i am tired of people thinking i am nothing but a teenager who glues his eyes to the television probably watching ONE TREE HILL (and yes, i do watch...the show is awesome)
i mean give us a break, just because you are (what) 20 years older than us doesn't mean that you know everything? i mean come on, man. listen to us once in a while( obey us like we are kings and queens while we treat you like slaves.......muahahahahaha) we have a lot of interesting stuffs to say ( and correct facts , mind you). maybe we should have a WORLD TEENAGERS-ADULTS AGREEMENT, we can put in 'listening to us' as number one ( sure, we will try our level best to slip in the obeying part somewhere......for now just cross your fingers). hahahahahaha.
i think i got better by just typing this post out, man. i feel much better. until we meet again next time, T.T.F.N.

2008 ( i know it's so yesterday....literally)
well, guys, 2008 has been one of those years that i will never forget (that's what they always say, ask me a year from now and i'll tell you that nothing really important happened in that year).
last year (i mean that yesterday's "this year") was really fun. i had tonnes and tonnes of laughther with my friends. seriously, (last year was not serious at all). the things we did. haiz. and i did get in trouble quite a lot, (not for what i did, mostly for what i didn't do........and no, it was not homework). loved today's "last year", because, that was the very first year i was with ALL my friends ( note that form 3 does not count because i was too busy studying my head off).
the achivements that i 'achieved' last year is not important. (yeah....rrrriiiiigggghhhhhtttt). the posts and all are totally boring to be stated here ( and i don't want to sound like a stuck-up-proud-snob). more importantly, in that year i discovered this new hobby, yes, reading. i read about 25 novels last year (yes, some were really really short and there were a lot of novels by Agatha Christie). reading has beeen my ultimate escape and i only noticed it last year,( can you believe it?).
my friends. well, this post would not be complete if it did not have my friends in it. my friends were (and will always be) the best in the world (last year, this year must wait and see). i got to know a lot of knew ones too. anne was one of them but now she is far away in Australia. Thambhi (that's priyadharshan) is also one of them, he was from St Paul (now he is in MY school....naynanaynanaynanay)
to put it in a nutshell (nutshells are very small, you know), my life blossomed last year. loved it. sad to see that that year has come to an end. and the beginning of this (monstrous) 2009. (of course, its SPM). anyways, Happy New Year , y'all.

A flat TYRE........(weeee, fun ain't it)
OK, this happened yesterday. we (meaning; me, mum, dad, sister, brother) were heading to the beach. it was about 5.00 pm. my dad was free so we planned to go to the beach for a stroll. you know, its been long since the last time we went to the beach. it had just stopped raining, the puddles of mud and rain water, here and there, had filled the potholes.
my dad was driving the car. my mum beside and the three of us in the back seat. (yeah, i guess you are picturing a perfect little family going on a sweet trip.....hahaha, you are so wrong, me and my siblings in the same car, havoc will be taking over). the car was going smooth until it accidentally bumped into a POTHOLE, (where we would discover later that was the cause for the flat tyre). well, we just kept going since it didn't seem to affect the momentum of the car. there was a lorry driver who went pass us who was waving his hands frantically yelling something that i couldn't hear. well, like most Malaysians, my dad assumed that the door on my mum's side was not shut properly, so we decided to stop and take a look.
we were near Springhill when we saw the flat tyre. well, we had a plan. a PLAN (muahahahahaah, you go to the middle of the road and stop a car and we will ask the guy to help us and when he gets down we will 'hijack' his car and head off to beach). the plan was to call a friend of ours to come and help (obviously we needed help, seeing the circumstances that we didn't bring a jack). so the friend came and brought his jack along. after possibly 10 minutes , we got to know that the friend (lets just call him sathi) forgot to bring the thingamajig (that's what i call things that i don't know the name of) that was supposed to lift the jack. then, sathi brought all other family members excluding me, my dad, and my brother.
after another 10 minutes, the thingamajig arrived. then we got to work. lift the car to a suitable height. then, unscrew the bolts of the flat tyre. thank God , the spare tyre was in good condition. the spare tyre was bolted with the same bolts of the flat tyre. after tightening the bolts, the jack was 'unjacked' (if that makes sense to you), and my dad started to drive. not even a foot away from the place we fixed it, the tyre gave us the impression that it was about to come loose. yeah, you guessed. back to the 'jack-ing'. only then we realised that the bolts for the spare tyre was different from the one in the flat tyre. unscrew bolts, screw in the correct bolts, and tighten it. the car was , finally, moving smoothly without any interruptions.
by the time all this was done, we were dead tired (by 'we' i mean me) . we went to sathi's house and went out for dinner with sathi's family. haiz, damn fun, uh?
lessons we re definitely learnt. first, if you are rich, get a driver. if you are moderate, like me, or poor, get a car jack. then, make sure you screw in the correct bolts. hahahahahaha

recent happenings......
okay, my friend Julian introduced this riddle game, Zahada, to me and it is A-W-E-S-O-M-E. the riddles are quite difficult and challenging. it makes your brain crack like a fragile pot dropped ten times. even to get to the website is a riddle by itself. heheheheheheh. i am enjoying every single one of the riddle so far. level 25 already, you know.
read a lot of books. okay, okay, only three. i have not started studying yet, maybe next week. loving the free time i am having. indulging my self with non-stop television, songs, and books.
currently, i love my life.

So What!!!!!!!
so what
I'm still a rock star
i got my rock moves
and i don't need you
hahahahaha. yeah people. this song is being sung (by me) to my one and only enemy, the exams results.
guess what,
I'm having more fun.
yeah, everybody. i definitely had SOME fun listening to the nagging from my dad and mum. i know i did not that well but still i don't regret doing whatever i did when i was supposed to be studying. for me life is meant to be enjoyed thoroughly. i definitely do not want to waste my time studying like a mad fool and getting all A's. i would rather have a lot of fun in my second last year in secondary school (and suffer like an idiot next year).
Exams are like the railings that keep the horses in caged-up land. most horses stay in that area but some are wild and they will jump over the railings and run wild. i am one of those horses. i don't regret doing it at all. actions have consequences. i am going to be a man and handle them.
yeah. so i was there yea-ing for all the nagging and everything. i mean i did my exams to the not-best-of-my-ability way so i don't feel really stupid. i just feel good that i didn't cheat.
cheating. well, for me, cheating in exams is just a waste of time. you cheat now, you will get caught later, anyway. if not in school, then it the hands of God. it is all recorded UP THERE you know. there is really no way around it. all you cheaters out there, i have one thing to say, you not cheating us but yourselves.
anyway. i am done being stupid. next year, me got to work hard like a mad fool and all. great talking to you guys. it takes my burden off. bye.
PS. friends who really care. i will do my level best to get all A1s next year. well, it is the BIG YEAR.

SPM is here......
well, everyone born in the 1991 must be fidgeting (and crying ) for SPM started today. before i go blabbering about other stuffs, i would like to wish everyone i know a-big-huge-biggest good luck anyone had ever wished them; akkas, chehchehs, kohkohs, annaes, abangs and kakaks, too.
SPM. this three alphabets (usually blamed for robbing the liveliness of the last secondary school year) will make most of the fifth formers pee in their pants. they stay up till late night to do their (so called) last-minute look through. they drown themselves with coffee just to make sure they don't fall asleep early. these things are normal and teenagers and children do that all the time (sigh* yeah right)
SPM is not an exam that proves that you are intelligent. a string of A1'S does not necessarily mean that you will be successful in life. yeah, i know. then what's the point of sitting for this BIG exam? nothing? no. its just the small beginning for some huge things in the world. (you fifth formers, do not take SPM for granted, read my next line ) nevertheless, it is crucial for a Malaysian student to take this test since it is (the so called) the base for any worthwhile job there is.
So GOOD LUCK to all those fifth formers. make sure you tell me about your papers in my cbox, okay.

Are You a Reader?
who is a reader? so, go on, tell me. who is a reader? some one who reads. hmmmm. lets see, a reader is some one who READS. define read. aha... that's where our opinions (or point of views )come in. reading something can be reading anything. the newspaper, magazines, newsletters. there are book-orientated reads too; fiction, fantasy, nonfiction, sci-fi, thriller. what makes someone who reads a reader?
well, i am a bit confused too. when i started this post, i was thinking to write HOW TO BE A GOOD READER, but then again, i got mixed up and ended up with this topic. it intrigues me too. what makes one a reader? is that by merely reading the sentences, paragraphs, short stories or novels that you become a reader. isn't there so much more to be a reader?
a reader is one that understands the writer, connects with the book, appreciates the style, admires the prose, and most importantly, loves reading. just reading a book does not make you a reader. (my teacher, would not agree on this, but what the heck) i mean seriously, if that is the case, then everyone can be a reader.
this lack of acknowledgement to the real readers make them one of the communities that are facing extinction. this reminds me of a post by Sharon bakar. here it is. according to the national literacy thrust which recently did a survey of 30000 pupils in UK, it proves that :

... children's reading habits slump dramatically after they start atso people, don't just stand there watch readers extinct. go and grab a book (of a genre you like, of course) and start reading. a wise man (i forgot his name) once said, reading is the only tool that unlocks the world.
secondary school. The typical eight-year-old reads nearly 16 books a year but,
by the time they reach 15 or 16, this has dwindled to just over three books per
year. The big drop-off starts after the first year of secondary school, when the
number of books read falls from nearly 12 a year to just
six.

i am back...guys but i m feelin bad... girls
bad things first
i got back my additional mathematics paper which i was so confident that i will get at least an A2 . guess what i got an A2 which i am so damn pissed about. i made the worst type of careless mistakes one can ever make in one's paper. its just so stupid of me. my paper leterally starts witha mistake and ends with one. its just so stupid of me. i sat there like an idiot while albert and doll tried consoling me, telling me that it does not matter, just an exam oni, wat. haiz. other than that, my bio teacher told one of my classmates that the whole class did extemely 'well' in our exams. haiz. i do not get this world. why does it always need to be me who suffers?
p.s.: currently i am hating my self.
now for the good news
my chapter 1 of my novel is now complete. i am working on the second chapter and a short story. i love writing. then, school holidays are here. time for me to extinguish the burning desire to read my novels. midnight's children, an evening is the whole day, the god of small things, and then reread all my other novels. and then only, catch up with all my form 4 (miserable, idiotic) syllabus. this is going to be a busy holiday period. and do not worry, i will be blogging almost everyday about the happenings in my life here.
neutral things
i learnt that true friends do not go away just because results are not as good as theirs. note to self, next time recheck your paper LIKE A MILLION TIMES, okay. catch ya later.

EnGLiSH ExAM...........(sigh)
i love English. my love for this language is unconditional. another thing i enjoy doing is writing essays and stories. like seriously, who would not enjoy doing it? when you are writing a story, you are actually playing god. you decide what your characters should do next. whatever you want, goes. no one objects you. its great. lately, i have been having some problems writing essays while exam. (can you believe it). i am a very detailed writer. i like to be specific ( not as much as Kim Edwards, though). during exams, i usually picture a character and try my level best to create a plot where the character explores the world and beyond. when i do this at home, it goes great . i write wonderful stories but during exams, i am a goner. last exam, i wrote story which began like " i opened the parcel and i was excited...." . the plot for this story came as quick as lightning to me. the characters were simple and perfect for it. at the starting, i was quite excited because the last essay i wrote for my exam got published in The Star. i guess, i was hoping to impress my teacher with my writing, once again. but after a few lines, i lost my vision. i was stuck in the middle of nowhere. i did not know what to do. i reread the very few lines i wrote and i was disappointed in myself. i felt that the tenses ran. there were grammatical errors. what am i to do? i looked at the time, and i had only 30 minutes to finish it up and hand it to my teacher. i decided to go with the 'vision lost' story. by the time i got to the end, i felt like tearing the 3 page long essay into millions of pieces. i hated it. so, guess, its time for me to go back to the basics. the lesson i learnt. never do anything for the mere sake of impressing someone, do it out-of-love. lesson learnt.

beautiful
what makes us beautiful? does a certain dress size make us beautiful? does the color of our skin make us beautiful? you wanna know what really makes us beautiful. well, the factors that distinguishes us from other people, that makes us unique and beautiful. a small laughter, can make us beautiful. more importantly the personality is the aspect that determines whether he/she is beautiful. cheerful, happy, confident, a go-getter, sweet, kind, honest, truthful, and loads more. the world today feeds us a false impression about being beautiful. it does not matter whether you are thin or fat, tall or short, dark or fair, that's all just skin deep. what matters is how good you are looking on the inside. that's what makes us beautiful.
PS: a note from me, why hide the real you when you can show everybody how beautiful you are,
it may turn out embarrassing but at least the world would know who you are on the inside.
don't try to be someone you are not,
seriously its a waste of time.
signing off, for now.
