something dear to my heart....

all of us are individuals who have their own opinion and perspective of life. the possibilities of me and you having the exact same answer for both that criteria is highly unlikely so in this entry i am just stating my opinion and i don't force you to have the same answers as mine.

for me, i stick to the saying " LIFE IS SHORT, ENJOY IT WHILE YOU CAN". the things that may not seem important to you now will give you a small "gift" of regretion in the near future. when you are 11, you cannot wait to grow up. the happenings then, made you feel like a "baby" pampered with care and affection. what you do not know is how much you will miss your primary school life in the near future. the things you were able to do and get away with then. do i bring back memories filled with mirth? i am sure i did. remember, the times you were to break a vase and not get punished for it. the teachers who would freak when we climb trees but never dared to punish us (foreseeing a letter from parents). wow, 6 blissful years with filled with laughter and excitement. being 16 now, i am missing all those moments from thetime my friend broke my hand till the part where i got straight a's in upsr. i loved my primary school life. the teachers, my friends, everything.

this is just the first segment, look out for more. signing off for now is a child in the appearance of teenager.

what is wrong with these school exams?(teens point of view)(don't worry its not serious)

we just sat for our mid term a month ago and now, coming week is our monthly test. what's wrong with these people? don't they know, we got to take some rest too. its not like we are not going to school or anything. this is just preposterous. tests, exams, this is just too much. we are humans, you know. we are not mindless computers who can store stuff in just a second. this pressure is affecting all of us. we don't dare get bad results because if we do, then our parents send us to boarding school. there is only two choices to choose from. either you work your sweat off for excellent results or you can voluntarily enter boarding school. exams, exams and more exams, is education only that. pieces of paper with questions on them that seemingly tests our knowledge on particular subjects. you ace that, you get applauded but if you flunk that, summer school awaits. is this fair? 'mindless', 'brainless', 'heartless' papers testing our intelligence. of course, you can go yappity-yap with the "its not the papers testing us, its the questions that tickle our intellignce" for all those yappity-yappers, i got one thing to say "PUT A SOCK IN IT". you don't know how much stress we are going through. you want to know? imagine a balloon (teenagers) being filled with air (exams and questions), you fill it with too much air it will pop. just like us, you keep giving us exams which are meaningless, we are going blow, eventually.
(all my friends out-there, you still have to study, because if you don't summer school awaits.

misunderstandings......

today, A went to see the personal racist advisor of the king to discuss about the diamond holder. when he was about to see her, somebody else of her own race came to see her too. among them, they spoke their own language, that's fine with me. as they were talking someone very dear to A walked past them noticing this scenario. i was standing behind the 'someone' talking to the advisor. lets call the person dear to A as P. after a minute or so, P walked past again. this time, she called me out to speak with me personally. when we came out, she started scolding me(advising me) and saying that i should be this naive and stuff. then she asked me what language is the advisor is using. then i said that she uses 'her' language when talking to C. then P went on and on advising me on being brave to tell the advisor off and state that we don't understand her. i am guessing that she missunderstoo the whole situation. what do you think?

really!!!!really !!!!confused

this is a metaphorical way of looking at the problem that i am facing right now. lets imagine, there is a diamond. a king owns it and wants to sell it off. he had hired 7 of his men to identify the potential buyers. one whole year, the 7 of them brainstormed and came up with a lot of plans to eliminate the unwanted, cheapskate buyers. all this while, there was buyer A who was performing his best all year round. when the day came to sell the diamond, the king asked the 7 of them who was the best candidate. anonymously, they decided the best buyer would be A. after hearing their word for it, he asked his personal racist advisor. she had her own candidate C who was in the "same race " as hers. then, he went to his personal choice, it was J (who is very arrogant and controlling and fake and distrust worthy). when the time came to make the decision, he gave the diamond to C, the diamond holder for A and J. as civilised people J should have shared the diamond holder equally with A but he did not do that. he took control and bosses A around as though he is the master ad A is the servant. this dilemma is just not over yet. A is now thinking that why should he flow towards the words of J.

review of 'and then there were none'

this is probably Agatha Christie's masterpiece. she has a great mind for mystery and an excellent writer. man.....the words she use aren't complicated or 'bombastic' as one might say but every single sentence leaves a mark on you. the way she twists her word and phrases, its just unimaginable to read a work by a world renown author who is not here with us. and there is a poem in this book that connects the whole story to one person. its great i say. she is so talented. anyway, this book is great. it starts of with 10 people getting invited to a mysterious island. they go there with the intention to lay back and take time off. the first day, when all ten of them were having their tea, the lights go off and a voice enters from nowhere. later they figure that it was their host's order to his butler(also one of the 10 people) to switch on the gramophone and darken the room. fine, but before that the voice actually says about a murder done by his guest's doings. what happens in the later part of the book is the murder of each and everyone on that island. i must warn you, the book may be addictive so do not read it when your exams are around the corner.

a prick on the way to a garden....

i have a wonderful friend. her name is Su Yin. she is very nice to me. one could compare her to a flower that blooms each day without failure. don't get the wrong picture in your mind now. she is one year older than me and i look up to her as a big sister. all the things she does, have a valid reason behind. i have known her my whole secondary school life. she has protected, advised, cared, and guided me in numerous situations. people may say that she gets angry unnecessarily, but to me, she has never done that so i don't really mind. today is the spelling bee grand finals. the ELS of smk bukit mewah has worked very hard on this project and we did not want any faults upon anybody for the grand finals. now, su yin was one of the judges and shaki and i were the MCs for this event. everything went smoothly and we reached the segment where we supposed to give away souveniers for the commitee members. picture this, i was up on stage and su yin was sitting in the place allocated for the judges down there. when i glanced at her for a moment, she was mumbling something at me. i managed to figure out, she was saying "the representative for the commitee is malini. call her up". so i assumed that we were supposed to just call malini up and not to mention the other commitee's names. thats exactly what i did. when it was over, i was walking towards her and she started shouting at me. she was saying that we were supposed to read out the names of the commitee members. i felt shivers. i just walked away from that place and started arranging the chairs. as i was arranging tears rushed from my eyes because i know we all worked hard for this project and at the end of it all, she was to have a bad memory of me, whom she believed was capable on carrying out tasks well. to hide my tears i went in to the basement and started arranging the chairs back to their rightful places. my friend, who saw this scenario went straight to su yin and he kinda 'knocked some sense into her'. i didn't know this because i was busy stacking up chairs in the basement.finally, she came to me looking guilty and said sorry. her face was all red. the funny thing is that if i looked upon her as a big sister, what i should have done is, take her 'shoutings' as an advice and said sorry for my part. when i realised this, i was feeling all guilty. now, this is just a prick on the way to a garden called everlasting friendship. if you think that i am going to let this 'prick' stop my journey to the 'garden', the you are wrong.

i am back

ok, the first reason i created this blog was to drown my sorrows through writing. its just that, i have been so busy with the spelling bee competition in my school. i bearly get any sleep. this blog obviously hasn't served its purpose. i never get any time to spend on my blog. but not anymore. i am back and you will probably see more posts coming your way.
