review of 'and then there were none'

this is probably Agatha Christie's masterpiece. she has a great mind for mystery and an excellent writer. man.....the words she use aren't complicated or 'bombastic' as one might say but every single sentence leaves a mark on you. the way she twists her word and phrases, its just unimaginable to read a work by a world renown author who is not here with us. and there is a poem in this book that connects the whole story to one person. its great i say. she is so talented. anyway, this book is great. it starts of with 10 people getting invited to a mysterious island. they go there with the intention to lay back and take time off. the first day, when all ten of them were having their tea, the lights go off and a voice enters from nowhere. later they figure that it was their host's order to his butler(also one of the 10 people) to switch on the gramophone and darken the room. fine, but before that the voice actually says about a murder done by his guest's doings. what happens in the later part of the book is the murder of each and everyone on that island. i must warn you, the book may be addictive so do not read it when your exams are around the corner.

my review of the KITE RUNNER by khaled hosseini

THIS IS DEFINITELY THE BEST BOOK I HAVE READ IN YEARS.The author has this unique style of blending suspense, thriller, romance and a whole lot of other stuff into one very VERY VERY interesting book. Its about two friends Amir and Hassan. As youngsters they have their ups and downs. At one point something happens to Hassan (i am not going to tell you guys, you should read the book for this part of the story, trust me , you will never expect this coming your way) and this 'something' makes them go on different paths of life. Hassan follows his father to a different part of the country while later in the story Amir will follow his father to a different COUNTRY. Amir finds love in this new place and gets married there. As he was getting comfortable with his life, there was still a discontentment within himself. He hasn't seen Hassan since both of them were about 12 years old. One day, Amir receives a call from a familliar voice (don't worry, its not Hassan) but this VOICE gives information to Amir about Hassan. For the rest of the sory you guys have to read this beautifully written novel by yourself. seriously it melts hearts.
